Phillip Strachan is Chief Financial Officer at Rio Tinto Alcan. He joined Rio Tinto in 1980, and has held roles with Comalco (Rio Tinto Aluminium's name prior to merging with Alcan) in London, Melbourne and Indonesia. He is now based in Brisbane, Australia (where much of RTA's Bauxite mining takes place[1].
