Bruce Arnold is a columnist for the Irish Independent newspaper.He was born in London and educated at Kingham Hill School and then at Trinity College Dublin. He has a postgraduate degree of Doctor of Letters from the National University of Ireland and is an Honorary Fellow of Trinity College.[1]
Arnold received the OBE in 2003 for services to journalism and UK-Irish relations.[2]
In November 2008, Arnold was among the guests who attended a reception hosted by Declan Ganley of Libertas for Czech President Vaclav Klaus.[3]
In February 2009, Arnold accused Irish Government ministers of being involved in a smear campaign against Ganley.[4]
