Two Blades Foundation is a crop research body that describes itself as "a US based charitable organization that supports programs of research and development on durable disease resistance".[1] Two Blades Foundation has linked up with the Sainsbury Laboratory "to solve crop disease problems using state-of-the-art technologies", by which they mean genetic engineering of wheat against rust disease, as is clear from a description of their work on the Sainsbury Laboratory website (June 2010).[2]
