Paul Hebblethwaite
Paul Hebblethwaite is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the British Nutrition Foundation (BNF). Hebblethwaite graduated from Birmingham University with a M.Sc. in Biological Engineering and after spells with CIBA-Geigy and Severn Trent Regional Water Authority joined Cadbury Schweppes Foods becoming R&D Manager in 1984.
He then moved to Premier Brands with the Foods Division buy-out from Cadbury Schweppes as technical and business development director and then UK general manager of the Chivers Hartley business. Hebblethwaite re-joined Cadbury Schweppes as the U.K. confectionery division technical director in 1991 becoming the technical and procurement director before his appointment to a group role in 2001 where he was responsible for global quality and environment management.
In 2003 Hebblethwaite was appointed as global science and regulatory affairs director, embracing risk and reputation management. He left Cadbury Schweppes at the end of 2007 to set up his own consultancy, Sustained Advantage Ltd., which offers strategic advice to food and related industry partners in the areas of innovation, efficiency, quality, reputation and sustainability [1]
Hebblethwaite is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of the British Nutrition Foundation and Chair of the Industry Cluster Chairs for Advantage West Midlands. He was the previous chair of the [[West Midlands Region Food and Drink Cluster Opportunity [2]Group]].
