The American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) is the 'leading professional organization for writers, editors, and other communicators of medical information.' Its members have access to its continuing education programme; annual conference with keynote speakers, discussion sessions, and workshops; networking opportunities; job services;; and its indexed, peer-reviewed AMWA Journal.Membership is open to anyone interested in any aspect of medical communication.[1]
