titles
Hi,
should have mentioned the protocol for sub pages. They should in general be named with the name of the organisation and then a subtitle after a colon.
so Renewables Greenwash-Profile of the UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy. should be: UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy: Renewables Greenwash
or similar.
OK?

Grosvenor Gdns ref
HI Miriam
my internet connection will be down till Friday but am logging in from college... In Grosvenor Gdns page, is there a web ref for the Innovas report in ref no 1? I found one innovas report that might be 'it' at http://www.berr.gov.uk/files/file50254.pdf so if this is it, do put it into the ref so people can click on it. Also it's good to put the page no. in a ref if you are referring to specific quote or fact.
many thanks Claire R
Carrot
Hi Miriam
can u just add a ref to the Carrot Communications page where it says its clients include BT, Nestle etc? I assume this may be from Carrot's own website? If so, a ref with weblink to that very page is good.
thanks!

Carrot
Hi Miriam
we have a page duplication--we have an old page called Carrot Communications Ltd and your new page called Carrot Communications. Your title is the one I prefer, without "Ltd". Can you, on your next foray into spin, just copy over all the info from the "Ltd" page and put it into the appropriate places on the newer Carrot page? also include any categories etc that are not in the newer page.
many thanks

Social Venture Network Europe
HI Miriam
can u pls go into this page and add refs so that we know where the info has come from? this applies even to tedious things like lists of staff/board members etc as we have recently been challenged on whether someone was actually a member of something--fortunately we had a record of the web page concerned! I do something like
==Board members==
As of November 2009:<ref>[http://www.bloggsco.com Our People], Bloggs Co website, accessed 17 Nov 2009</ref>
*Joe Bloggs - chair
*Jane Biggs - president
Also if a website does not contain certain info it's esp important to say where we get it from, so can u add a ref to say where you got the 'undeclared' info from?
many thanks for your work. BTW I can't at the moment 'sign' my name electronically as am in funny browser but you can find my talk page and leave msj if needed by going to yours and then substituting my name, Claire Robinson, for yours, and then hit enter.

answers to yr questions
Hi Miriam
I reorganised AEA Tech and David seems to have done Carrot (he is very efficient!), so no need to do anything on those. In general before starting a new page it is always useful to type the name of the org into search box on left and hit Search (not Go) to see if anything similar exists. we need to avoid duplication. sometimes the old, existing page has an outdated name and it would be better to redirect to a new page with new name, as in the AEA case. Have a look at how I have done the redirect in AEA Technology by going to that page and hitting edit. Then you will know how to do redirects, if you don't already.
I think you are doing great. only one comment which is to reference every piece of info you can, no matter how trivial, as it seems even the trivial info is important to someone. I hope my broadband connection will be up and running again Fri so will have a closer look at things then.I assume you are developing the climate portal?
thanks and best wishes

refs
HI Miriam
I have changed two refs, nos 5 and 10, into new style refs, which we should aim for always in our new articles and when updating old ones. you will see that the old style ones point out of the page onto the web site referred to, whereas the new ones take reader to footnote and from there they can go to the site referred to. you can look in the History of the page I altered the refs in to see the differences--keeping one window open with new version and another with old version helps.
have a look at http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/SpinProfiles:A_Guide_to_Referencing#Old_and_new_style_referencing
and I hope all will be clear!
do ask if not.

questions
HI Miriam
About FoI, I have asked David to reply to you on that as he is the expert on FoI requests.
re who's running Act on Cop, I can only find this re their website -- seems to be a govt thing purely http://www.actoncopenhagen.decc.gov.uk/en/about
at foot of page.
re who's running Road to Cop, see http://www.roadtocopenhagen.org/ and click on Sponsors and Partners at foot of page.
assume you know about http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/Copenhagen_2009:_Who%27s_Who as to who is sponsoring COP15, quite scary--I know you have worked on this page recently so sure you do know.
re an article, wd be fantastic if you could do one re who's running all these joints -- personally I think that the "who's running COP 15" topic is food enough but would be good if you could find out anything more. NB we need to addres that question about, does it matter that car cos, airline cos etc sponsor these things as they have been part of prob. but maybe it's good because they can also be part of solution?? what way are car and airline cos going re the fuel they depend on? do they want to prolong the oil culture?
if you do an article -- can be very plain, just who and what -- then we can publicise thru twitter, spinwatch etc.
pls do add to climate portal page whatever you like -- this is definitely the idea of spin and my role is just to make sure that dodgy stuff doesn't go in and to edit what does go in, in line with our style, grammar etc. continuous improvement is the idea...
many thanks for your great work.
