Hans Borgelt

Hans Borgelt was a German journalist during 1930-1945 in Germany. After the war he was interviewed about his journalism and he stated:

We felt... I felt relatively free. I always thought that I could write what I wanted, but strangely enough, but years later when I read the articles which I had written then, I was surprised at... the inhibited style in which they were written, as if my brain had been standing to attention awaiting orders.
