Andrew Buxton

Andrew Buxton is a corporate board member and lobbyist. He has been chair of Barclays Bank and President of the British Bankers Association. Together with Leon Brittan he played a key role in forming and leading various business coalitions aimed at advancing banking interests through the promotion of free trade in financial services.

Buxton founded and was the inaugural chair of the European Services Network which became the European Services Forum. He chaired the High Level LOTIS Committee and co-chaired the Financial Leaders Group with Ken Whipple, President of Ford Financial Services, who also chaired the Financial Services Group of the US Coalition of Service Industries (CSI).
