Galen Institute

The Galen Institute says it 'is a non-profit research organization devoted exclusively to health policy. We work to promote a more informed public debate over ideas that advance individual freedom, consumer choice, and competition in the health sector.' In other words it pushed the privatisation of health care systems. It is based in the US but has some UK contacts including its president Grace-Marie Turner (previously, Grace-Marie Arnett) who is an adviser to the Atlantic Bridge.
