Keith Hellawell

Keith Hellawell was the 'Drugs Czar' special advisor to New Labour. He is a former Chief Constable of the West Yorkshire Police. He was a policeman for 36 years and was nicknamed 'the Black Knight' because he dressed in black and drove a black Porsche. He was paid £109,026 as Drugs Czar. His role was downgraded after the 2001 election.
