The Electoral Commission is the body which is independent from government which is responsible for overseeing and regulating the implementation the framework for the electoral system, as set out by the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act of 2000. [1]

Donations

Donated £600,000 in tax-payer raised funds in two donations to Vote Leave, the campaign group which successfully persuaded British voters to leave the EU on 23 June 2016. [2]
