Chris Elmore is the Labour Party's Member of Parliament for Ogmore. He was elected in May 2015, receiving 12,383 votes (52.6%), yielding a majority of over 8,000.
The by-election was held after Labour MP Huw Irranca-Davies stood down to run for the Welsh Assembley election in the same area. [1]
