Tim Farron

Tim Farron has been the Liberal Democrats MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale since 2005[1] and since July 2015, the leader of the Liberal Democrats.[2]
In the 2015 election, Farron was just one of eight Liberal Democrats MPs to retain their seats, and the only Lib Dem MP to increase their majority. Farron defeated his closest competitor Conservative Party candidate Ann Myatt with a majority of 8,949 and 51 per cent of the vote. [3]
