Jennifer Powers is a partner at Westbourne Communications since April 2011, heading up public affairs and offering strategic advice across the Westbourne's accounts. She specialises in the energy practice, applying her experience to smart metering and smart grids as well as the UK gas and electricity market.

Background

Prior to joining Westbourne, Powers was Head of Corporate Affairs at the Energy Saving Trust, starting in 2007. Her responsibilities in this role included public affairs, media relations and stakeholder management.

She has an extensive background in PR, having worked in the Public Affairs department for food and beverage company Nestle, the Food Standards Agency and TXU Energy, where she again headed the company's public relations.
