Liam Byrne

Liam Byrne is the Labour MP for Birmingham Hodge Hill and Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He was Chief Secretary to the Treasury in 2009-10.[1]
Controversy
After Labour lost power in 2010, Bryne left a tongue-in-cheek note to the incoming Conservative Party saying 'Dear chief secretary, I'm afraid there's no money left'.[2]
