Henrik Rönnquist is a Swedish art gallery owner and leader of Pegida Sweden, an off-shoot of the PEGIDA movement which began in Dresden, Germany.[1]
Views
Rönnquist said to have views similar to the far-right Sweden Democrats, though it is not known if he is a member of the party.[1]
Activities
Prior to attempting to start Pegida Swerige, Rönnquist had a conviction for inciting racial hatred, relating to his Malmö art gallery, Rönnquist & Rönnquist, hosting posters by artist Dan Park which, amongst other things depicted black men with nooses around their necks and suggested that Roma community leaders condoned crime.[2]
