Aldi Stores are a supermarket chain based in Germany. In the UK Aldi has signed up to pledges in the Public Health Responsibility Deal. Aldi's pledges in the Responsibility Deal Alcohol Network include them being Signatories to Responsibility Deal Alcohol Network Labelling Pledge and to provide information on alcohol units and calories as well as agreeing to tackle under-age alcohol sales, provide support for the Drinkaware Trust and support community action on alcohol related harm. As a member of the Responsibility Deal Food Network have agreed to salt reduction and artificial trans fats removal.
