Markus Beisicht was described in 2007 by Der Spiegel as one of the 'party chiefs' of Pro Köln, along with Manfred Rouhs[1].
The anti-Islam Pro Bürgerbewegung network emerged from Pro Köln.
According to research carried out by British group Hope Not Hate in 2011, Rouhs was also the publisher of the website nation24.de.[2]
