Eric Hester is a moral conservative activist, former Vice Chair and continuing trustee of the Family Education Trust. In 2000 Family and Youth Concern reported his appointment as Chairman and noted that he 'recently retired after 36 years in teaching, the last eight of which were as Headteacher of a boys grammar school in Altrincham, Cheshire.'[1]
