Currently working towards a PhD within the Department of Geography and Sociology, University of Strathclyde. The reserch is centered on alcohol governance and public health policy in Scotland the UK and Europe. Central questions include, the extent to which the alcohol industry influences policy and research; and the impact on democratic process that the inclusion of the unelected within policy circles has.
