Jonathan May is a former executive member of the Office of Fair Trade [1] (OFT) Board. He is also acting executive director of policy and strategy.
Background
May joined the OFT in 2001, and was the first director of the Markets and Policy Initiatives Division. He spent over 2 yrs. as Director of UK Competition Policy at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
At the Department for Business, he developed strategy on competition policy. Before his secondment, he worked at the Treasury with public expenditure responsibility for Home Office and overseas aid policies.
