The Sragowitz family in Scotland immigrated to Glasgow beginning in the late nineteenth century. Many of them changed their surname to Strang, some to Sragow (sometimes temporarily). One at least changed his name to Simpson.
The Scotland's People database records 48 births of people named Sragowitz (the last one in 1960). There are also 40 marriages (the last one in 2001) and 48 deaths (the last in 2020).
Family tree
Between the 1940s and today many members of the family were actively involved in the Zionist movement.
