Chelsea Academy Foundation is a UK charity set up to support the Chelsea Academy, a Church of England secondary and sixth form state-funded academy school.
The Foundation provides the school with extra funds to 'bridge that gap' between the 'annual resource per student [spent] in a private secondary school in London and per pupil funding in the state sector.
It provided £129,000 of grants in 2013-12 to the school to support extended- and extra-curricula activities, such as music teaching.
