Paul Robert Kernaghan
Paul Robert Kernaghan is a British police officer.
In February 2016, Kernaghan was appointed Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman for the Ministry of Justice. [1]

Kernaghan served in the Royal Ulster Constabulary as a Constable (1978-1981), Sergeant (1981-1984), Inspector (1984-1988) and Chief Inspector (1988-1991).[2]
West Midlands Police
Kernaghan served in West Midlands Police as a Superintendent (1991-1992) and Detective Superintendent (1992-1995).[2]
North Yorkshire Police
Kernaghan served in North Yorkshire Police as an Assistant Chief Constable (1995-1996) and Deputy Chief Constable (1996-1999).[2]
Hampshire Constabulary
Kernaghan served as Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary from 1999 to 2008.[2]
From 2000 to 2008, he was International Affairs Lead for the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.[2]
Palestine
In 2009, he succeeded Colin Smith as head of the EUPOL COPPS EU policing mission in Palestine.[2]
