Dan Rogerson
Dan Rogerson has been the Liberal Democrats MP for North Cornwall since 2005.
He was appointed shadow parliamentary under-secretary in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in 2005.[1] His portfolio covered water, forestry, rural affairs and resource management.
Previous roles also include, shadow minister at the office of the deputy prime minister (2005-06), shadow minister for communities and local government (2006-07), shadow minister for culture, media and sport (2007-07), opposition whip (2007-10), shadow minister for communities and local government (2007-10) and parliamentary under secretary at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs 2013-15 [2]
In January 2015 he was appointed to the Liberal Democrat General Election Cabinet as the party's spokesperson on environment, food and rural affairs. [3]
In the May 2015 election, Rogerson lost his MP seat for North Cornwall to Conservative Party candidate Scott Mann. [4]
Background
Rogerson graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with a degree in politics and went onto work in local government. [5]
