Ruth Lauren Smeeth

Ruth Smeeth was selected as the Labour Party PPC for safe seat of Stoke-on-Trent North on 5 April 2014.[1]
Previously she worked for Sodexho, before joining the pro-Isreal lobby group BICOM in August/September 2005 as its Director of Public Affairs. She left in early 2007[2] and by Nov 2007 she was working at Nestle[3].
She stood for election unsuccessfully as a Labour candidate in Burton, West Midlands[4][5] and then worked for the anti-fascist group Hope Not Hate.[6]
