The Intelligence Review Committee was a senior intelligence committee in Northern Ireland. According to the Pat Finucane Review by Sir Desmond de Silva QC:

The Intelligence Review Committee (IRC) met monthly until mid-1988, after which it met on a weekly basis. It was chaired by the DCI and comprised senior representatives of the RUC, the Army and other agencies. The IRC reviewed the intelligence effort against both republican and loyalist paramilitaries.[1]
