Freedom of Information Request 1
- The School does not provide any advice to students or staff on any potential liability under Terrorism legislation which might result from accessing materials for teaching or research.
- The School also does not have any kind of procedure to review teaching materials which, explicitly or in practice, considers questions of safety and risk under terrorism legislation as part of its remit.
- At present, the School does not have a policy or procedure in place for dealing with any potential actions taken by the authorities against the institution, its students or staff under Terrorism legislation.
- In 2008, the School formed a 'Good Campus Group', which examines and discusses any guidance which comes from the government on promoting good relations on campus. It promotes good relations on campus; it does not claim to prevent violent extremism.[2]
