Nigel Rudd is one of the UK's best known businessmen, and has been described as a "bulldog of the corporate world".[1]
Career
He is current Chair of airport operator BAA, Deputy Chair of Barclays bank, and a non-executive director of BAE.[2]
He was "parachuted in as chairman of BAA amid growing criticism from politicians, airline customers and the media, while the Competition Commission is examining breaking up the group."[3]
He is on the advisory board of Business for New Europe, an initiative set up by Roland Rudd, head of city PR company, Finsbury.
Previous roles
He was former of Boots, which was sold to the private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).
