On retirement from government, he founded Global Energy Investors and is Chairman of Energy Communications and Solutions LLC. He is Vice Chair of the United Nations Energy Security Forum, an advisor to the governments of Russia and Ukraine on Environmental policy and a Director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He was appointed to the AEGIS Board as a non–executive director in 2005.[1]
