His brothers were Hyman Levinson (later Mac) and Chazkel Levinson (later Charles). It would appear that their older brothers and sisters (Lazarus to Charlotte or perhaps Minnie) were not born in Scotland. Isaac Levinson was born in 1904 in the Gorbals. Minnie may have been born in 1907 in Newington, Edinburgh.
