Richard Harrington is the Conservative Party MP for the Watford Constituency[1].

He was appointed parliamentary under secretary of state, Minister for Energy and Industry in June 2017.

Political career

In the 2015 general election, Harrington was re-elected with a majority of 9,794. [2]

On the 14 September 2015, he was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary jointly to the Home Office, the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Department for International Development. He is responsible for co-ordinating work to resettle up to 20,000 Syrian refugees, advising the Home Secretary, Communities Secretary and the Prime Minister.[3]
