Dolar Amarshi Popat (born 14th June 1953) [1] is a nursing and care home tycoon who was handed a peerage in the House of Lords in 2010.
He is chief executive of the TLC Group, specialising in healthcare and hospitality and has given over £200,000 in donations to the UK Conservative Party. [2]
