Ishtiaq Hussain is a team leader at the Ministry of Justice.[1]
Hussain is a former recruiter for Hizb-ut-Tahrir.[2]
Hussain was a manager at the Quilliam Foundation from September 2008 to November 2009.[1]
He was Regional Prevent Manager for East London at the Department for Communities and Local Government from December 2009 to March 2011.[1]
He was a manager at the Department for Education from March 2011 to September 2015, initially as Team Manager - Independent Schools & Inspections (2011-14), and later as Team Manager - Complex Analysis & Casework (2014-15).[1]
In September 2015, he joined the Ministry of Justice as Team Leader - Independent review of extremism in prisons and probation service.[1]
