Simon Hoare has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) for North Dorset since May 2015. [1]
Hoare replaced the former Conservative MP Robert Walter when he retired in March 2015, after having held the seat since 1997. [2] In the 2015 general election, Hoare was elected with a majority of 21,118. [1]
In December 2015, he was appointed as a member to the Speaker's Advisory Committee on Works of Art. [3]
