Sharon Hodgson is a Labour Party MP, sitting for Gateshead East & Washington West from 2005 to 2010, and for Washington and Sunderland West since 2010. Her parliamentary posts have included Assistant Whip (HM Treasury) 2009-10, Opposition Whip (Commons) 2010-10, Shadow Minister (Education) 2010-13, Shadow Minister (Equalities) 2013-.[1]
