Sue Hayman has been the Labour Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Workington since May 2015. [1]
Hayman was appointed in March 2015 to replace the former Labour MP Tony Cunningham, who had previously held the seat since 2001. [2] In the 2015 general election, Hayman ensured the seat remained Labour winning with a majority of 4,686. [1]
