Carolyn Harris has been the Labour Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Swansea East since May 2015. [1]
Harris replaced the former Labour MP Siân C. James, who had held the seat since 2005, when she chose to retire in 2015. [2] Harris was elected in the 2015 general election with a majority of 12,028. [1]
From 2005 until 2015 Harris worked as a senior parliamentary assistant/constituency manager for Siân C. James. [3]
