Gavin Newlands has been the Scottish National Party Member of Parliament for Paisley and Renfrewshire North since May 2015. [1]
Newlands defeated the Labour Party candidate Jim Sheridan, who had held the seat since 2005 [2], with a majority of 9.076.[1]
