Sir Robert Smith was the Liberal Democrats MP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine from 1997 to 2015.[1] He failed to be re-elected in the 2015 general election losing to Stuart Donaldson the Scottish National Party candidate. [2]
He is the Grandson of Sir Robert Smith, Conservative MP for Aberdeenshire Central & Kincardine 1924-45.[3]
