Rob Marris was the Labour Party MP for Wolverhampton South West from 2001 to 2010. [1]
Having returned to government in 2015, Marris was successfully elected in the May 2015 general election with a marginal majority of just 801 over closest competitor Conservative candidate Paul Uppal. [2]

In 2010 Marris was given a payoff of £32,383 after losing his constituency seat. He has however, been recalled by the Labour Party to stand for Wolverhampton South West for the general election in May 2015. [3]
