John Denham MP

John Denham was the Labour MP for Southampton Itchen from 1992 to 2015.

In 2011 Denham announced he would not be standing in the 2015 general election. He was replaced by Rowenna Davis who lost to the Conservative Party's Royston Smith by 2,316 votes.[1]

Parliamentary roles

He was Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills 2007-09, and Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government 2009-10.[2]

Donations

In 2011 Denham received donations of £4,697.71 and £4,657.95 from private equity firm owner Nigel Doughty.[3]
