Mark Simmonds has been the Conservative MP for Boston and Skegness since 2001. His parliamentary career has included posts as Shadow Minister (Health) 2003-04, Shadow Minister (Education) 2004-04, Shadow Minister (Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) 2004-05, Shadow Minister (International Development) 2005-07, Shadow Minister (Health) 2007-10.
He was parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2012-14.[1] He resigned from the Government on 11 August 2014.[2]
