Safra Catz is an independent non-executive director of HSBC Holdings plc.
Career
Before being appointed to the board of HSBC in 2008, Catz has worked as managing director and senior vice-president of investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Oracle Corporation. She joined technology corporation Oracle in 1999, was appointed to the board of directors in 2001, co-president and CFO in April 2011 and CEO in September 2014.[1][2]
In 2015 Forbes ranked Catz as the 24th most powerful woman in the world.[3]
