Mike Crockart is the Liberal Democrat MP for Edinburgh West. Crockart was elected on 6th May 2010 with a majority of 3,803. [1]
He is a member of the business, innovation and skills select committee as well as the Scottish affairs select committee. [2]
Background
Before entering Parliament Crockart served as a police officer in Lothian & Borders Police for eight years and worked as a systems developer and IT Project Manager for Standard Life for eleven years. [1]
Education
Crockart studied Politics at Edinburgh University in 1984. [3]
