Sir Michael Wood was the legal adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2001 to 2006.[1]
In November 2005 he proposed a return to the bar, 20 Essex Street Chambers, this was approved by ACOBA, who said he could take up the position after the six month period that he proposed, and in September 2006 he transferred.[2]
