Career
After university, Maynard was hired as an account director at Harvard Public Relations until 2003.
He was then appointed head of corporate communications at SHL Group Ltd (January 2004 and January 2006), then moving on to be PR and communications specialist at Band and Brown, (February 2006 and July 2006), before going back to Harvard Public Relations as board director (August 2006 and September 2009).
He was appointed director and head of technology and telecommunications sector at MHP Communications, until August 2011.
In August 2011, he was hired managing director and chair of UK tech practice and deputy chair of Europe, Middle East and Asia tech practice at Burson Marsteller, in December 2013 he was appointed managing director and chair of Europe, Middle East and Asia technology practice.[1] He has worked for companies such as SAP, Cisco, Sony Mobile, Nintendo, Adobe and Vodafone.[2]
