Richard Lloyd is a former UK government special adviser, who worked for the Prime Minister's Office from 2007 till 2010. There he dealt with economic issues across the government, including strategy, communications and consumer policy.[1]
Lloyd is now executive director at consumer advice company Which?. [2]
Background
Lloyd has over 20 years’ experience of campaigning, policy-making and service provision in charities, housing agencies and government. He was campaign director at CHOICE, the Australian consumers' association, leading their work on banking reform. [3] Previously he was director general of Consumers International, the world federation of consumer organisations, he also led the anti-landmine campaign as director of the international charity Landmine Action.
In the 1990s Lloyd was head of policy at Shelter, drawing on earlier experience delivering frontline services with housing associations in south London. [3]
