Tom Rose is the former publisher of The Jerusalem Post and current contributing editor at The Weekly Standard. He recently joined forces with other neoconservatives to create a new Israel lobby group called the Emergency Committee for Israel.
Rose is credited by Richard Silverstein as being responsible for moving the Jerusalem Post to a hard-right political stance from a previous centrist position.[1]
