Joseph ('Joe') Milton is a former employee of the Science Media Centre in London, UK and is now Senior Media Officer at the Australian Science Media Centre.

Education
Milton completed a PhD in evolutionary and environmental biology in 2009. In 2010 he gained a qualification in Science Journalism from City University London.[1]

Milton has written for the Financial Times, Nature and New Scientist, 'among others'.[2]

From June 2011 to December 2011, Milton was Assistant Editor at the Society of Biology.[3]
Scientific American
Milton worked as a blogger for Scientific American from July 2011 to January 2012.[3]

From September 2010 to August 2012, Milton freelanced with the Nature Publishing Group.[3]

Milton worked as a freelance reporter on funding and policy for Research Fortnight from February 2011 to August 2012.[3]
